FACOI Applications Now Open

“When you look at an osteopathic internist with the initials FACOI after their name, to me as a patient, or as a colleague, it immediately communicates that the individual is an excellent, high-quality, Board-certified physician.”
– ACOI President, Robert T. Hasty, DO, FACOI, FACP

“Being a Fellow is a designation that I have proudly displayed on my business cards, my email signature, even on my white coats that I wear at the hospital. It is something you can be proud of and something that you take with you for the rest of your life.”
–  Damon L. Baker, DO, FACOI

It’s an academic accomplishment. It has importance for self-value, but also at an academic level, at an employment level, and at a leadership level. It’s important for us as osteopathic internists to have this level of academic appreciation.”
