The Medtronic SoCal team recognized Evangelos Diamantakos, DO, FACOI, (of Eisenhower Medical Center in Palm Desert, CA) for his expertise and dedication in using Medtronic’s PFA PulseSelect system. The PulseSelect pulse field ablation (PFA) system enables both mapping and precise lesion delivery via biphasic waveform optimization. It is the first PFA technology to receive FDA approval. Using this system, Dr. Diamantakos completed 100 cases in 9 months; in addition, he traveled to China to proctor some of the country’s best physicians on the PulseSelect system, visiting four provinces in seven days to do so.
