What Can I Say? More Questions than Answers

"We Have Met the Enemy and He is Us" was originally published by Walt Kelly in 1970 for Earth Day. The echoes of his concern for and vision of the future remain just as true today, if not more so. I truly don’t remember when the accuracy of Mr. Kelly’s cartoon registered with me as prescient, but it now resonates with me almost daily as I think about the future we are leaving to our children, grandchildren, and future generations.

Networking

I have been asked a few times to teach others about how to network and to share my networking skills. I am so grateful for my network of friends and relationships, and they have been incredibly meaningful and valuable for me personally as well as the institutions that I have served.

Student Doctor Dayal always presents himself with a smile and has established himself as a warm, welcoming figure amongst the students at Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. In addition to being a great friend, he manages to balance the strenuous aspects of medical school in a manner that encourages us all as he repeatedly emphasizes his desire for all his friends to succeed together.
